Key Responsibilities:

  • Research new wind energy opportunities.

  • Liaise with government and private stakeholders, including making presentations to private landowners to present wind project opportunities

  • Obtain necessary provincial and municipal government approvals (permits and environmental assessments)

  • Negotiate and execute land rights agreements with landowners and with authorities.

  • Coordinate environmental assessment reporting

  • Maintain databases of stakeholder and supplier information

  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with landowners and other project stakeholders.

  • Research and gather information from Government policies on wind projects

  • General tracking of other project developments, construction and operations in the market

  • Frequently travel to project site locations

  • Reporting to management

Education Requirements:

University degree (Engineer) or Master’s Degree

Major: Civil, Mechanical, Surveying, Aeronautical or Electrical Engineering

Years of Experience Required:

2-3 years of experience developing Energy projects in Vietnam (preferably for an IPP).

Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • Knowledge of wind projects in Vietnam and high interest in Renewable Energies

  • Advanced in English and Vietnamese communication

  • Open minded with ease of communication with people

  • Team player and enjoy working in international team

  • Know-how on letter formatting to exchange with authorities

  • Clear and structured reporting capacities

  • Good engineering skills

  • Good level of computer literacy – MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

  • Has good alcohol tolerance in case of business negotiation if required

  • Local geographic knowledge (Gia Lai, Phu Yen or Dak Lak province) is a plus

  • Immediate availability is a plus
