Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of renewable energy development activities in Myanmar

  • Identify business opportunities and helps form relationships with key utilities and other potential clients the region

  • Work with various ministries, local departments and project stakeholders including making presentations to stakeholders to present renewable energy project opportunities

  • Manage obtaining approvals and permitting

  • Identify land owners within development sites and negotiate land rights agreements with landowners and with authorities

  • Coordinate environmental and social assessment reporting

  • Maintain database of stakeholder and supplier information

  • Research and gather information from Government on renewable energy policies

Education Requirements:

University degree (Engineer) or Bachelor Degree

Years of Experience Required:

Minimum of 5 years of related working experience with proven record of successfully managing the full-spectrum of core project development responsibilities independently or with limited over-sight.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • Advanced in English and Burmese, both written and spoken

  • Good understanding of energy and power sector

  • Good level of computer literacy – MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Keen to learn and be exposed to new environment, on-site visits
