Working in partnership with AC Energy, Ayala's energy platform, the 40MW Hong Phong 1 project was commissioned in October 2021. The Hong Phong 1 project is the second stage of the larger Mui Ne project with a potential of 200+ MW.

The project consists of 8 GE 5.3 MW-158 WTG. Those 8 wind turbines are the largest installed in Southeast Asia at the time of construction and the first model to consist of a two-pieces blade design in the region.
