The position will essentially focus on assisting the Project Development Manager in securing wind energy service contracts for new projects, grid studies for existing and new projects and help liaise with local and energy-related governing bodies in the securement of permits, approvals and general matters allowing for the advancement of those projects’ development.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

·         Prepare all documents for the application of new Wind Energy Service Contracts for new projects

·         Prepare all documents for the application of System Impact Studies/Grid Studies for new and existing projects

·         Prepare reportorial requirements documents to the DOE for all existing and new projects

·         Liaise with DOE and NGCP and other regulating bodies on project-related matters and permits

·         Liaise with LGUs, barangays, provinces, landowners, local communities for necessary licenses, resolutions of support and permits related to the meteorological mast and overall project execution

·         Survey and research cadastral information of the land in the project location

·         Coordinate with the Environmental and Social Governance team for community relations/CSR activities

·         Conduct research on various subjects to aid in the project development including coordination with contractors in the conduct of various survey (topo, geo, hydro) studies for the project

·         Negotiations with landowners to secure land for construction of Metrological Mast or for the Wind Farm location.

 Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor

  • Major: Electrical or Civil Engineering

 

Years of Experience Required:

·         at least 2 years of work experience as a project engineer/ project developer, preferably in a Power or Renewable Energy company

 

Essential Skills and Requirements:

 ·         Proficient in Microsoft Office, such as but not limited to Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

·         Good command in both oral and written English language

·         Ability to travel from time to time

·         Familiarity with EVOSS (DOE) and OTCA (NGCP) online platforms (preferred)

·         Professional with solid time management skills and ability to multi-task

·         Ability to complete the requirements needed for a project based on the given timeline

·         Can work under pressure and with minimal supervision

·         Can manage confidential documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment

·         Good experience in interfacing with LGUs and other governmental bodies 

·         Power or Renewable Energy Project know-how

·         Open minded with ease of communication with people (internal & external)

·         Local cultural geographic knowledge (Laguna province) is a plus

·         Immediate availability is a plus

 

Work Location: Laguna province, Philippines

 

Employment Package:

·         Contract Status: 6 months probation period subject to permanency after passing the 6 mos probation
